We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Buyer to join the team to manage transactional procurement activity across the procurement lifecycle and support Senior Buyers with business-critical procurement activity.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Providing an effective and efficient support service for procurement activity within the business – supporting business users and the members of the procurement team.
  • Supporting the Procurement team in the management of business-critical procurement activity, taking responsibility for new and renewing contracts
  • Maintaining accurate data on the contract management system to allow for regulatory reporting.
  • Supporting the management of all procurement related systems and processes across the business
  • Responsible for ensuring our contract management system is kept up to date and that colleagues using the purchase order system are trained and supported.

What we are looking for: 

  • Strong communication and people skills with the ability to build relationships and influence at all levels. 
  • Great analytical skills including numeracy
  • Great attention to details skills
  • Experience in time and priority management
  • Proficient in MS Office including spreadsheets/PowerPoint
  • Invested interest in developing Procurement expertise and studying for Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) Level 3
