We have an exciting opportunity for a Desk based Business Development Manager to join our sales team on a 12month secondment. As a member of the intermediary sales team, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional level of service to our intermediary partners with new business enquiries and technical support.  You will be responsible for providing dedicated support remotely to our Field Based Business Development Managers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide an exceptional service and experience in all interactions with our intermediary partners (phone and email).
  • Identify opportunities to maximise sales in your designation area.
  • Recommend criteria enhancements and provide feedback regarding products, propositions and service.
  • Support junior colleagues with complex enquiries, taking ownership where necessary
  • Working closely with the Field Based business Development Managers to to enhance the broker and customer journeys.

 

Key Skills:

  • Proven track record of delivering outstanding customer service
  • Comprehensive understanding of the Society’s product and service offering
  • Experience of dealing with the intermediary mortgage market
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Well organised
  • Attention to detail
  • Experience using customer databases/systems
