I.T. Leadership Role

c.£44K – 47K per annum (Assistant Principal)

 This key Business Support post will be responsible for leading and developing the College’s I.T. Services function, ensuring that it develops, supports and keeps pace with QAC’s ambitious Strategic Plan. You will oversee the IT and Resources Team and be responsible for leading on IT Security and Data Protection. 

 Over the last two years we have transformed the I.T. estate in the College; with new internal network infrastructure, internet breakout, Wifi, servers, back-up systems, Windows 10 upgrades, safeguarding systems, security, HR & payroll systems, server virtualisation, offices & accommodation, helpdesk systems, support processes & polices and the development and recruitment of skilled IT staff. 

 You must be educated to degree level (or equivalent) in a relevant field, with evidence of relevant CPD.  You will have excellent technical knowledge and experience across I.T. applications e.g. server and network infrastructure, data management systems and services, security, website design and applications, and customer support. A proactive and collaborative leader, you must have recent working experience of developing and delivering on I.T. Strategies and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

 This is a 52 week post, contracted to work 37 hours per week. Part time working applications will be considered. Salary is circa £44K – 47K per annum. (FTE)
