The Stables Bar and Restaurant showcases the very best of British produce and our chefs work in partnership with local, small scale suppliers of cheese, meat and vegetables to make sure all our menus feature fantastic ingredients from sustainable, regenerative sources, and taste all the more amazing for it. And let’s not forget the produce from our very own Jemima’s Kitchen Garden – The Stables is all about Estate to Plate – and you can’t get more local than that!
We are looking for chefs who are forward thinking during service and are passionate about making fresh dishes every day, such as homemade pies, flatbreads in our pizza oven and specials that change depending on what is in season. We are looking for someone who is keen to learn new skills such as butchery, and is conscious of using our ingredients to their full potential to minimise wastage.
In addition to the Restaurant, The Stables serves a lighter menu in the Bar and is home to the Players’ Lounge, a dedicated space where we host corporate golf clients with summer BBQs or warming winter dishes after their time on the course.
We are looking for a Chef de Partie who is passionate about cooking and has proven experience of a busy service in an à la carte restaurant. The Stables caters for up to 100 covers and is open 7 days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner so a fast pace and the flexibility to work a variety of shifts is essential. We pride ourselves on developing talent in our kitchens so in return for your skills and drive, we can offer you training and the chance to learn and grow within the team.
