Purchase Ledger Controller

Salary: From £21,495.73 per annum plus excellent benefits

Purchase Ledger Controller

We have an exciting opportunity for a purchase ledger controller to join our busy Finance team here at the Runnymede on Thames. 

 Key Responsibilities are:

  • Process invoices, reconciling delivery notes and purchase orders to invoices received
  • Setting up new supplier accounts
  • Maintain existing account details within the purchase ledger
  • Monthly reconciliation of supplier statements
  • Point of contact for supplier queries
  • Assist in the preparation of purchase summaries and cash flow
  • Process business expense returns
  • Processing BACS payments, credit cards and preparing cheques

The ideal candidate will need to have a minimum of 1 year’s accounting experience with previous experience in a busy purchase ledger environment.  Strong organisational and administrative skills, as well as excellent communications skills are a must for this role. 

Strong excel skills with the ability to export, sort and analyse financial spreadsheets is essential; an understanding of Opera, Adaco and Micros would also be beneficial.
