We are on the look out for an inquisitive and ambitious Commis Chef to join our thriving kitchen team. We pride ourselves on helping our chefs to grow and develop and strongly believe that our kitchen is the perfect place to kick-start your career, with the support of experienced and creative culinary professionals around you.
You’ll need to be prepared to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in. Every dish that we create is prepared from scratch so there’s a lot of prep to be done to make sure that we reach the level of flavour and finesse that we need.
We’d love you to come with some experience of a professional kitchen – either from your education or a previous role. We’d love you to have great knife skills, be a stickler for a clean bench and have the raw skills from which you can grow.
Now is a fantastic time to join us as we look to re-launch The Glasshouse Restaurant after an extensive refurbishment. We are aiming sky high for with food we’ll be offering and we’d love to have you come on this stratospheric journey with us.
The Grove is one of three prestigious hotels operated by Ralph Trustees, a family-owned independent hotel group. We are a spectacular 5 star destination and resort, offering our guests a slice of tranquillity and calm, away from the stresses of everyday life.

Being family owned means that both our guests and our employees are treated as individuals and not one of the crowd.
Why join us?
Aside from the personal touches that come with working in a family-run business, we also offer a range of fantastic benefits that are designed to make you feel valued and appreciated as an important member of our team:
