Location: The Grove
Contract Type: Full Time
Salary: £18,568 per annum plus hotel benefits
Specific Hours: n/a
Weekends at The Grove are a time for families and we have a whole host of activities planned for our younger guests so we are looking for an extra Activity Co-ordinator to join the team who run our fun packed schedule. From renting out bikes and segways to explore the woodland trails, to archery, laser clay shooting and forest camps, this team are on hand to show you what the Grove has to offer outdoors, and when the weather is not so kind, we offer cupcake decorating, t-shirt designing, giant games and lots of arts and crafts for those who prefer glitter and sequins to playing in the mud!
When not entertaining our families and leisure guests, it’s the turn of our corporate clients to be looked after in the space we have available to hold team building days and themed activities, which the team successfully host.
The role is full time (40 hours per week) and the majority of weeks the hours will be Wednesday to Sunday, so the ability to work both days every weekend is essential.
Experience in a customer facing role or activities based role would be desirable and the ability to lift and move heavy equipment such as bikes and segways is essential.
The role also entails handling all email and telephone enquiries for activities bookings in timely and professional manner and delivering safety briefing to guests who are using the hotel equipment.
We will need to carry out a DBS check before offering positions as the role involves working with children.
The Grove is one of three prestigious hotels operated by Ralph Trustees, a family-owned independent hotel group. We are a spectacular 5 star destination and resort, offering our guests a slice of tranquillity and calm, away from the stresses of everyday life.

Being family owned means that both our guests and our employees are treated as individuals and not one of the crowd.
