Reservations Agent - Maternity cover contract

Resort Reservations is the first point of contact for all potential bookings at The Grove and is a well-established team of knowledgeable, efficient and friendly agents who work tirelessly to ensure that when a potential guest gets in touch, either via phone or by email, they’re on hand to find exactly the right option for them. The team handle enquires for all areas of the property, including but not limited to accommodation, dining, spa packages and treatments, and also tee time enquires for golf.

They liaise with colleagues from across the hotel, such as reception, meeting & events, accounts, golf, spa, activities and our restaurants to ensure a seamless and smooth customer journey for our guests, whether it’s a couples stay, a family break or a group getaway that they are booking.

To be right for this role, some great experience in a similar role would be ideal. You’ll have dealt with the administration of bookings and will be used to working with third party partners.

We’re looking for a positive, flexible attitude, great guest interaction, good telephone manner as this is a predominately telephone based role and written/verbal communication, in English, and the desire to play your part in a fantastic team. Knowledge of Opera, ResDiary and ResortSuite would be preferred.

The team cover the phones and inboxes 7 days a week so you will need to be flexible to various shifts through the week and working weekends on a rota basis.
