We are seeking a Marketing Executive to join the team responsible for the development of the resort’s brand and marketing. This role would be ideal for a graduate looking to start their career in the luxury hospitality industry.

Core Purpose:

  • Supporting Marketing Manager and Digital Marketing Manager on a day-to-day basis
  • Liaising and networking with a range of stakeholders including customers, colleagues and partner organisations
  • Communicating with target audiences
  • Timely delivery of marketing activity

Specifically:

Planning:

  • Support the Marketing Manager in identifying target markets and developing relevant strategies
  • Identifying lead generation opportunities

Digital:

  • Support the Digital Marketing Manager in coordination of digital campaigns
  • Day-to-day liaison with digital marketing agencies
  • Maintaining and updating customer databases
  • Updating of website with news and offers
  • Updating of social media channels
  • Writing of website content
  • Briefing external copywriters
  • Ongoing website testing and conversion rate optimisation
  • Managing, monitoring and updating social media channels (inc TripAdvisor)
  • Monitoring & management of OTA quality

Design & Print:

  • Day-to-day liaison with design agencies
  • Creation of collateral
  • Copywriting
  • Preparing print and marketing campaigns
  • Preparing direct mail pieces

Finance:

  • Finance administration
  • Liaison with 3rd parties for project estimates, quotations and ensuring best value

Brand:

  • Brand guardianship and toolkit

Internal Communications:

  • Liaising with all departments regarding marketing campaign requirements
  • Gathering of information 

Photography & Video:

  • Management of photo library

Person Specification:

Essential:

  • Positive, self-starter attitude and desire to learn
  • Relevant degree or work experience
  • Strong understanding of marketing including online and offline
  • Good understanding of internet technologies and internet marketing techniques
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills
  • Good relationship building
  • Excellent organisational and IT skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Good analytical knowledge of statistical analysis methods.
  • Appreciation of luxury goods and high-end hotels

Desirable:

  • Good appreciation of brand and design
  • Appreciation of luxury goods and high-end hotels
  • Previous experience of luxury hospitality and or travel
