The team responsible for welcoming guests to our fabulous property are seeking a Luggage Porter to assist in ensuring that our guests' arrivals are handled as smoothly and professionally as they have come to expect.

This is a key role in delivering The Grove's high service standards. You will have outstanding customer service skills, and be responsible for welcoming the guests as they arrive at the Hotel. You will handle their luggage, from their car to their Hotel room, and ensure all customer queries or requests are handled efficiently, politely and courteously.

This is a permanent, full-time role and involves shift work on a rota basis.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Essential

Previous customer service experience

Clear conversational and written English Language

A flexible attitude

Ability to follow specific instructions

Over 21 years of age and have a clean driving licence

Desirable:

Previous high volume hotel experience

Capability and commitment to delivering high levels of customer care

Smart and professional appearance

Positive attitude and excellent communication skills

Ability to remain calm whilst under pressure

Willingness to work outdoors in all weathers
