WHAT YOU DO MATTERS…    

The Role

Taking on a challenging 6 month project of reviewing the company’s existing bank, cash and other balance sheet reconciliations with a view of standardising these across to board, finding efficiencies and implementing best practice to ensure that efficiencies and accuracy are at the forefront of ways of working.

Allocate and monitor the progress of team tasks. Provide mentoring, coaching and training to the team to bring them up to speed with new procedures.  Champion procedure enhancements to negate future repetition. 

Build and maintain stakeholder relations within the wider operations department and business. Effective use of information systems that are relevant to the role, raise system issues and suggest improvements. 

The Team

The Operational Finance team part of a wider Finance department headed up by the Financial Director who reports in the Chief Operating Officer.  The team consists of Financial Accountants, Accounts Payable and Cash Management.

The Person

Perfect for someone who is incredibly switched on and articulate, with impeccable communication skills. A person who provides a high-quality of work, with a proactive attitude.  Ability to shape and mould the position and grow with the business. Used to working in a large matrix environment.

Skills & Experience

  • Extensive experience in multi-currency bank and cash reconciliation in similar industry
  • Excellent organisational and communicational skills.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Proficient using Oracle, Microsoft Excel and experience with SAP Systems
  • ACCA, AAT or IOC Part Qualified
  • A people person, energetic and leads by example
  • Used to high volume, annual and monthly billing
