WHAT YOU DO MATTERS…

The Junior CRM Developer supports the CRM team build and implement direct marketing communications with a focus on HTML and CSS for email. This role is responsible for maximising the utilisation of the CRM Platform (currently Oracle Responsys), Proactively increasing our capacity to deliver innovative, personalised multi-channel marketing programmes that build out customer experiences that delight customers whilst increasing our profitability. While the CRM platform will be the core area of focus for this role, exposure into other marketing systems including web behaviour and single customer views may be required.

In this role you will:       

  • Developing responsive emails (HTML and CSS), across multiple clients and browsers, troubleshooting any rendering issues.
  • Experience building emails from PSDs or Sketch files.
  • Using template/workflow to assemble campaigns, which include AB and multivariate tests, using assets provided from design and marketing teams.
  • Working with CRM team to implement multi-channel marketing programmes, understanding campaign parameters, including audience, personalisation, QA (through Litmus or similar) and supporting sign off all builds.
  • Leveraging tools and scripting language to deliver dynamic content.
  • Providing best practice direction and solutions to ensure all our templates are up to standard by ensuring our platform utilisation is maximised.
  • Stay abreast of improvements within the CRM marketing industry, ensuring new solutions are considered alongside our objectives.
  • Flexibility in supporting the wider CRM team in driving business objectives

WE KNOW WHAT WE’RE DOING… and we know exactly what experience we’re looking for!

Experience     

  • Confident in HTML & CSS coding for email and cross-device email rendering
  • Experience with our CRM Platform or an equivalent ESP/CRM solution
  • Knowledge of automation and customer journey visualisers
    SQL and relational database understanding desirable but not essential

You are a self-starter, who works with limited supervision and possess a strong attention to detail. You'll be proud of what you deliver, have a strong work ethic and be prepared to get behind team and departmental goals. You'll have no problem adapting to changing situations, work well under pressure and utilise problem-solving skills. Your technical and business communications skills will be strong.
