WHAT YOU DO MATTERS…

The Email Developer is the point person for the implementation of the River Island marketing automation activities in UK and international territories. This role is responsible for maximising the utilisation of the CRM Platform (currently Oracle Responsys), and proactively increasing our capacity to deliver innovative, personalised multi-channel marketing programmes that build out customer experiences that delight customers and increase our profitability. While the CRM platform will be the core area of focus for this role, exposure into other marketing systems including web behaviour and single customer views will be required.

Responsibilities

·Using template/workflow aspects of the CRM solution, you will assemble campaigns, which include AB and multivariate tests, using assets provided from design and marketing teams.

  • Be responsible for the implementation of personalised multi-channel and international marketing programmes
  • Configure the CRM Platform to enable the creation of self-service campaigns and deliver through to execution
  • Work with IT / marketing / ecommerce to support initiatives within River Island which have a data component, ensuring the CRM platform utilises new capabilities and drive projects forward
  • Maintain a high-level view of all integrations and architecture of the CRM platform, ensuring technical modifications are made to ensure the platform is efficient and improving
  • Stay abreast of improvements with the various platform providers and within the marketing automation industry, ensuring new technology solutions are considered and actively reviewing River Island's use of the CRM platform to maximise utilisation.

Experience

You'll have good experience with SQL in an e-commerce context

You will be confident in HTML coding and cross-device email rendering

You will have experience with our CRM Platform or an equivalent ESP/CRM solution and ideally have worked with API implementations using SOAP or Rest.

Personal Attributes 

You are a self-starter, who works with limited supervision and possess a strong attention to detail.

You'll be proud what you deliver, have a strong work ethic and be prepared to get behind team and departmental goals and contribute to the success of the business.

You'll have no problem adapting to changing situations, work well under pressure and be a creative solution finder. Your technical and business communications skills will be strong.
