40 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

Salary Range (FTE) £25,386 - £27,292 per annum subject to Health and Social Care qualifications  

Sleep-ins paid at an extra £78.48 per night ( This equates to approximately £3500 additional payment when working 1 sleep-in shift per week)     

Once Qualified in L3 Health and Social Care there is a potential to earn up to £27,292 per annum after completion of relevant RMT courses and increased length of service

  • The role is based at Glasshouse College, Stourbridge which is an independent specialist college educating young people (16-25) with complex behaviour and learning difficulties including autistic spectrum conditions.
  • The main purpose of the role is to support and facilitate our students’ holistic needs, care, wellbeing, learning and development within their residential setting to enable their growth in confidence and social independence in accordance with the agreed holistic care plans, study programmes and risk assessments in place for the student.
  • Our students have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, which can involve complex diagnoses. Any applicants must be prepared to work with challenging behaviour.
  • Evening and weekend working is an essential requirement of the role.
  • The use of your own car is desirable as this role involves working across all areas of the residential provision.
