Waking Night Residential Support Worker
Salary Range (FTE) £27,603 - £29,565* per annum subject to qualifications
(This salary includes a market supplement for Residential Support Workers)
Hourly rate: £13.22 - 14.16 (incl. market supplement)
After completion of relevant RMT courses and increased length of service there is a potential to earn up to £33,810
40 Hours per week, 52 weeks per year
This role is also available as a Term Time role
Actual Salary for 40 hours, 37 week £21,942 - £23,497
(Part time hours may be considered, minimum 20 hours per week)

This post is based in and around Nailsworth, Stroud and Stonehouse.
The key duties of this role will include:
- The supervision and support of students in their residential settings with a range of domestic activities such as cooking, shopping, cleaning and laundry.
- The supervision of the students at night, including behaviour management, medication handling and carrying out household tasks when residents are sleeping.
- Completion of relevant paperwork is required.

- Be a patient, caring, compassionate with a young person centered nature
- Demonstrate the ability to manage emotionally challenging situations, be a team player with experience of support work in both educational and residential settings
- Emotional intelligence and resilience with the ability to react calmly in stressful situations
- This position is for predominantly waking nights and weekend working is an essential requirement of the role.
