Student Communities and Opportunities Assistant

The Role

Working in a newly formed team, this role will see you collaborate with colleagues to support student leaders to run over 300 societies, volunteering projects and campaign groups. The Student Communities and Opportunities Assistant will provide administrative support to the team, organise key communications, aid with monitoring and reporting and offer improvements to existing processes. You may also be involved in some front-facing service delivery, supporting incoming student enquiries.

 

A passion for supporting students to get the most from their University experience is a must, as is a calm approach to working with our dynamic and enthusiastic groups. You should be well-organised, comfortable managing data and able to work in an agile manner across a range of projects with the ultimate goal of helping provide students with a space where they belong in Sheffield!
