Project Worker, Ambrose House based in Hounslow

37.5 hours per week, £27,125.00 per year

We are excited to be recruiting for the role of Project Worker at our services, Ambrose House (predominately based in Hounslow). 

The services specialise in providing accommodation and support for people in need. Sometimes our residents have been the victims of traumatic experiences and need our support to re-establish themselves in the community.

The role is to provide support and direction to the people who use our service so that they feel empowered to make positive choices such as finding employment/alternative accommodation. You will be involved in a variety of tasks to support individuals including liaising with/accompanying individuals to meetings with external agencies and medical professionals. Your support will encompass a variety of tasks including some domestic responsibilities.

  • Experiencing of working with people with different needs
  • Ability to encourage, support and show empathy
  • Be friendly, caring and trustworthy
  • Ability to support individuals to be safe
  • Ability to support and assist to make positive choice

Desirable criteria:

  • Ability to be able to speak a second language - Particularly Amharic, Tigrinya, French or Arabic
