Support Worker - Fairfields
37.5 hours per week
£27,866.00 gross per year, £14.29 per hour

Fairfields provides 24-hour care and support to 5 adults with learning/physical disabilities and complex needs. We are looking to recruit Support Workers to support each person who uses the service to lead a fulfilling and independent life according to individual needs and choices. This will include supporting with preparing meals, shopping, paying bills, bathing and personal care, medication administration and outings within the community.

Essential Criteria:
- An ability to demonstrate the core values of the Charity
- Experience of working with those with Autism and complex needs
- NVQ3 in care (or willingness to attain)
- Experience of supporting people with a Positive Behavior Support approach
- Full, clean driving license
- Experience of developing support plans
- QCF Level 3 in Adult Health & Social Care OR willingness to work towards
- Experience of working with vulnerable adults
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Able to provide personal care
- Maintain confidentiality, honesty and reliability
- Interested, motivated and committed
