Deputy Service Manager - Olallo House, London

Salary: £40,716 per annum

SJOG is looking for a compassionate, enthusiastic and organised individual to join us as Deputy Manager at Olallo House, our Central London service for people experiencing or at risk of street homelessness.
Olallo House offers accommodation and specialist support to street homeless men and women, victims of modern-day slavery or trafficking, and homeless patients undergoing TB treatment on discharge from hospital. It offers a place of safety, warmth and care where people are able to begin to rebuild their lives.
Working in partnership with a number of agencies, including the NHS, we focus on providing holistic support with health and well-being playing a significant role.
A rare opportunity has arisen to join us and help lead the team in their delivery of high-quality services.
Role overview
As the Deputy Manager, you’ll support the Service Manager in the day-to-day running of the service. You’ll give direction to the team to ensure that the people we support have their rights protected, are supported to achieve their potential, and are included in decision-making about their lives. The role is wide-ranging and no two days will be the same.
What you’ll bring
- Experience of delivering high-quality, person-centered support to people experiencing homelessness or other forms of disadvantage.
- Values driven with the ability to lead and develop a positive spirit and culture within a team.
- Good organisation and planning skills with the ability to prioritise and take action quickly.
- Strong communication skills with ability to engage with people at all levels
*Management experience is desirable but not essential, as is the ability to speak another language*
