COOK – ELMTHORPE CONVENT, OXFORD

£12.60 per hour

The Salesian Sisters are a registered charity with an international congregation and are recruiting Cooks to join the friendly team at Elmthorpe Convent.  

The convent in Cowley, Oxford is home to a small number of elderly Sisters and is managed by SJOG Hospitaller Services and we welcome all who wish to apply for this role.

Essential Criteria: 

• Ability to respond to guidance and direction
• Experience of cooking for groups of people
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Food Hygiene Certificate (or willing to attain)
• Able to work flexible hours
• Maintain confidentiality, honesty and reliability
• Accessible, approachable and comfortable with vulnerable people
• Non-discriminatory and respect for cultural and religious heritage of all people
