Temporary contract covering maternity leave, expected to end on or before 1st September 2026.

We are excited to be recruiting for the role of a Project Support Worker, to join our team in Birmingham on a temporary contract covering maternity leave.  To be eligible to apply for this role you will need to be able to speak a second language / be multilingual. The service specializes in providing accommodation and support to people who have been victims of Modern day Slavery & Trafficking, and help them re-integrate into the community.

The role of a Project Worker is to provide support and direction to people who use our service so that they feel empowered to make positive choices such as finding employment/access Education/have legal representation etc. You will be involved in a variety of tasks to support individuals including liaising with and / or accompanying individuals to meetings with external agencies like healthcare, solicitors, immigration, probation teams, mental health/ recovery teams. Your support will encompass a variety of tasks including some quality compliances and governances.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Experiencing of working with people with different needs
  • Good communication skills, be approachable and people-friendly
  • Strong grip on record-writing and record-keeping
  • Ability to support individuals to be safe and enable them to be independent
  • Ability to multi-task and liaise with multi-agency network to support clients.
  • Desirable - QCF Level 2 and above
  • Must be able to speak one or more foreign languages - Particularly Polish, Romanian, Albanian and Slovakian OR Arabic OR Any Asian language
