BANK CARE ASSISTANT – ELMTHORPE CONVENT, OXFORD
£12.15 per hour (made up of flexible components £10.62 BR + £1.53 Funder)

The Salesian Sisters are a registered charity with an international congregation and are recruiting a bank care assistant to work on an 'as and when basis' to join the friendly team at Elmthorpe Convent.
The convent in Cowley, Oxford is home to a small number of elderly Sisters and is managed by SJOG Hospitaller Services and we welcome all who wish to apply for this role.
We pride ourselves on supporting the people who use our services in such a way to enable them to live as independently and dignified a life as possible in their home, so it is essential that a quality driven and holistic service is maintained at all times.
Essential Criteria:
- Actively support the vision, philosophies and values of the Charity and that of the Sisters of Mercy
- Able to work as part of a team
- Able to provide personal care
- Good communication skills
- Participate where necessary in social activities, outings/holidays with people using the service
- Maintain confidentiality, honesty and reliability
- Non-discriminatory and respect for cultural and religious heritage of all people
- Able to work flexible hours over a 24/7 period
