Project Support Worker (Outreach) - Manchester

We are excited to be recruiting for the role of Outreach Project Worker at our new service based in Manchester.  Reporting to the Service Manager, you will provide support to people in their recovery from trauma.  You will be based in one of our community hubs based in Manchester, supporting clients across North West region.

To be eligible to apply for this role you will need to be able to speak a second language / be multilingual (please clearly state on your application which second language you speak). 

To apply, it’s desirable for you to have experience of working with vulnerable people with support needs, however we are open to transferable skills. An ideal candidate will have great aptitude to work with vulnerable people, have knowledge of support planning skills, and an excellent communicator.  Further on you should be a good motivator, and have a can-do and proactive approach.  

Desirable Criteria: 

  • Experience (or willingness to learn) of working with vulnerable adults  
  • Experience (or willingness to learn) of developing individual support plans 
  • Good organisational and planning skills 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Good level of IT skills 
  • A good understanding of systems and record keeping 
  • Must be able to speak one or more Eastern European or Arabic Languages – Arabic, Polish, Romanian or Albanian.
