BANK COOK – ELMTHORPE CONVENT, OXFORD
£12.15 per hour (made up of flexible components £10.62 BR + £1.53 Funder)
The Salesian Sisters are a registered charity with an international congregation and are recruiting Cooks to work on an 'as and when basis' to join the friendly team at Elmthorpe Convent.
The convent in Cowley, Oxford is home to a small number of elderly Sisters and is managed by SJOG Hospitaller Services and we welcome all who wish to apply for this role. We are looking to recruit a Bank Cook to prepare and cook meals to meet the requirements of the people who use the service
Essential Criteria:
- Ability to respond to guidance and direction
- Experience of cooking for groups of people
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Food Hygiene Certificate (or willing to attain)
- Able to work flexible hours
- Maintain confidentiality, honesty and reliability
- Accessible, approachable and comfortable with vulnerable people
- Non-discriminatory and respect for cultural and religious heritage of all people
