We are seeking a part-time Maintenance Caretaker at Olallo House, one of our 24/7 services based in central London.

The service specialises in providing accommodation and specialist support for homelessness men and women in need. Sometimes our residents have been the victims of modern day slavery or trafficking and need our support to re-establish themselves in the community.

The role is to provide a high-quality general caretaking and maintenance service. You will be required to undertake a daily building cleaning regime and complete routine day-to-day maintenance tasks to ensure the building is kept to a high standard, providing a safe and compliant environment for clients and colleagues.

Overview:

We are looking for detail oriented and task focused professionals to join our team in providing support to adult survivors of human trafficking and modern-day slavery in the North West.

The role will consist of managing a caseload of 15 to 18 clients in their recovery journey and supporting them with their recovery needs. All our Outreach clients live independently (this is not an accommodation-based role), but still require remote assistance accessing mental health services, legal representation, medical treatment, as well as signposting and referring them to community organisations. In addition, Project Workers are expected to write regular concise, accurate, objective and detailed reports on the status of their clients’ recovery for the Home Office.

We are looking to recruit Support Workers to provide support and assistance for complexed care. Currently supporting in a hospital setting while we transition the people supported to then live in own homes. This involves close multi agency working.  

There will be the requirement to work day shifts and night shifts which includes weekdays and weekends and this will be on a rota system. You will be providing caring for people we support with learning disabilities and complex needs who requires support with daily living which includes but is not limited to, personal care, cooking, cleaning, shopping and going out in the community on activities.
