Lead Generation Representative
As a Lead Generation Representative, you will be responsible for identifying and generating new business opportunities through targeted outreach and marketing campaigns, building a pipeline of leads to meet business plans, quotas and company objectives. You will be required to research and analyse potential markets, develop and execute strategies to reach out to potential clients, and collaborate with sales and marketing teams to create effective lead generation campaigns. Additionally, you will need to track and report on the success of your efforts and continually refine your approach to optimize results. This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a strong analytical mindset and a passion for driving business growth.
In addition, this role will support the Operations Manager and provide cover during sickness and holidays to the Operations Manager tasks, primarily the processing of orders.
Your tasks
- Find and nurture prospective customers for ProcessVue products and services.
- Make proactive outbound contact using phone, email, social media, and other means available to develop new opportunities.
- Contact prospects to qualify leads.
- Respond to inbound enquiries via phone, email, webchat, and other means.
- Work with marketing team on email marketing to key clients and prospects.
- Research and maintain lead generation database with our Dynamics CRM system.
- Conduct customer research. “Connect the Dots”
- Conduct client or market surveys to obtain information about potential leads
- Participate in the preparation of proposals and / or sales presentations, especially when nurturing a prospect.
- Provide accurate and timely information to management
- Develop a strong knowledge of the company’s products and services in order to facilitate the prospect nurturing and sales process
- Creating reports for management using the CRM tool and submitting monthly reports per the standard template.
- Creating market analysis / lead generation strategies, and continuously improving the processes and techniques to ensure consistent pipeline growth.
- Working with Marketing to determine best practices and events to ensure best return on marketing investment.
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure a smooth handoff of qualified leads.
- Support and cover for the Sales Operations Manager during sickness or vacation to ensure sales orders are processed in a timely manner, and other appropriate tasks.
Your profile
- You enjoy a consultative approach to selling commercial off the shelf software to industrial customers. You inspire prospects and customers through personal discussion and presentations.
- you are a great networker, and you know how to build relationships at all hierarchical levels at our prospects/customers.
- You have very good methodological skills in the presentation and are ‘at home’ talking to new people (cold calling).
- You are able to translate customer pain into a prospective opportunity.
- You are able to dedicate time to prospecting new customers and partners.
- Good time management skills
- You are able to analyse performance of your approaches (A/B testing) as well as identify areas of improvement
Experience
- 1-2+ years of proven success and experience in prospecting and lead generation, ideally with industrial customers both in the U.K. and internationally.
- A university degree in either marketing or Business Administration would be beneficial, however a higher qualification in electrical, industrial, or mechanical engineering would help you to understand the complexity of our products and systems and their integration into the machines or equipment of our customers.
- You are proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. In addition, you should have experience of a CRM package – ideally Dynamics CE.
