Fleet Vehicle Cleaner
We have an opportunity to join our Vehicle Presentation Team (VPT) as a Cleaner at our Ipswich depot. The main scope of the role is to make sure the quality of cleanliness of the PCV vehicle fleet is maintained by ensuring that all cleaning and associated work is completed within the specified period and meets the company standards.
This will ensure we consistently deliver a great service every day, exceeding passenger expectations and ensuring the passengers receive a safe, reliable and clean service.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the fleet to the highest standard by ensuring that all cleaning and associated work is completed within the specified period. Through the extensive cleaning regime, you will ensure our passengers expectations of cleanliness are exceeded so they feel safe whilst travelling on our vehicles.
- Following health & safety and security guidelines and procedures at all times.
- Ensuring that appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) is worn in appropriate areas.
- Minimising wastage by ensuring the correct use - along with the safe and secure storage - of all materials and equipment.
- Ensuring not to adversely affect any cleaning schedule/programme and that lost, defective or inoperative equipment is reported immediately to your supervisor.
- To work in a clean and tidy manner by ensuring debris is not left for others to clean up and that equipment is in a clean and proper state at the end of each shift and is returned to the appropriate storage place.
- Following appropriate COSHH guidelines when using cleaning materials and chemicals
- Ensure the health, safety, security, welfare, and environmental arrangements for yourself, customers and colleagues. This includes attendance at safety briefings and training as required, and fully understanding emergency evacuation plans.
- Ensuring all accidents/incidents are reported using the Company's reporting procedure.
Essential:
• Experience working flexible hours.
Desirable:
• Previous cleaning experience.
Health & Safety knowledge:
• CSCS/CITB/CCNSG.
• COSHH.
• First Aid.

This standard is designed to provide a level of assurance as to the honesty, integrity and values of individuals who are required to work at a Nuclear Licenced Site, or who may have access to sensitive nuclear information.
