PCV Event Driver
Specialist Passenger Solutions provides the passenger transport needs for one of the largest construction projects in Europe – Hinkley Point C. We transport thousands of clients to and from the site every day, working 24/7 to ensure that construction remains on schedule.
We are looking for an additional Event Driver to join our small friendly events team. This is an interesting role which provides great variety.
The role includes:-
• Site Tours - taking visitors on site tours around the HPC construction site
• VIP Visits - transporting visitors to and from site, eg from airports, hotels etc
• Community transport – for local organisations, schools and community groups for events and day trips. In the past this has included trips to the beach, zoos and theme parks as well as to the Brecon Beacons and Dartmoor for charitable fund raising events
• HPC Transportation – at times when no events or visits are scheduled, your duties will include transporting the workforce to and from the HPC construction site.
A smart professional appearance at all times is essential and a uniform will be provided. A calm, professional manner is needed along with the ability to deliver an exceptionally high standard of customer service. Flexibility, strong attention to detail and a clear communication style are all essential in this role.

Week Mon - Fri
1 0330 – 1230*
2 0430 – 1745*
3 0330 – 1230*
4 0330 – 1200*
*Please note, these are not the exact start and finish times for each shift. Your shift would fall somewhere between these times. These are an approximate guide to the earliest times a shift would start or the latest times a shift would finish.
The rota above is a Monday-Friday working pattern. However, you will be required to occasionally work on a Saturday or Sunday for special events. You will be given as much notice of this as possible when this arises.
