Overview:
We invite applications for a Career Development Fellow (CDF) in Computer Science. This is a fixed-term, non-renewable post from 1st October 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter, for a period of three years. It is open to early career researchers who have recently completed or are close to completing a doctorate (and will have submitted their thesis no later than three months before the start date of the post).

Overview:
We welcome applications for up to ten Fulford Non-Stipendiary Junior Research Fellowships for the period 1 October 2026 to 30 September 2028 (or for the duration of the postholder’s post-doctoral appointment if this is shorter).
The posts are open to applicants holding research posts, or who will definitely hold research posts by 1st October 2026, from across all four divisions (Medical Sciences, Humanities, Social Sciences, and Mathematical, Physical & Life Sciences). The posts are intended to provide the opportunity for outstanding early career researchers to benefit from association with a College, and to encourage interactions with the wider Somerville community.
There is no stipend offered for these posts as they offer an association to the College, not employment.

Overview:
We seek to appoint a 12-hour Stipendiary Lecturer in French for the 2026-27 academic year. This is a full-time, fixed-term contract based at Somerville College. The lecturer will be required to give on average twelve (weighted) hours per week of tutorials for Somerville College during the eight-week term and be available during both term and for some periods of the students’ vacations to offer organisational, pastoral and admissions support.
