We are looking for a Family Support Worker to join our team of motivated and passionate practitioners working within our Five to Thieve ethos.
If you want to make a difference in the lives of children and families, are hardworking and resilient this could be the role for you. Family Support workers work with families in a range of different areas including Reducing Parental Conflict, Parenting, Mental health and financial difficulties.
Family Support Workers offer support 1-1 to families and children, support to assess community groups and through the facilitation of courses
Candidates must be able to demonstrate experience and the skills needed in supporting vulnerable families and understanding the impact challenges can have on children and their parents/careers.
The ideal candidate will have experience of the Early Support Assessment (formally CAF) framework and have experience of safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
We ask that you hold a Level 3 qualification in the relevant sector, e.g. Early Years and will be offered training to further your professional development and to fulfil the Family Support Worker role.
A full driving license and access to a car for work purposes is essential, as the role involves working across Wiltshire. The base for this position can be discussed at interview and is based in either Devizes or Tidworth, although you will hold a case load that captures the East Quadrant of Wiltshire. Spurgeons offer paid expenses and 25days holiday (Increasing with service)
