Salary: £8,515 - £9,977 per annum based on 15 hours per week. This role benefits from an Outer London Allowance of £738 per annum.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Family Centre service within Spurgeons Children Charity, supporting families & children 0-11 years across Elmbridge.

This is a new role working in the community to support families who would benefit from some early support. This is not a case holding position.

Duties include:

  • Supporting families and children 0-5, in group sessions at the centres and at community venues and events.
  • Understanding the lived experience of the child and supporting their parents to promote effective change in meeting their needs.
  • Working with internal and external colleagues to co-deliver sessions and groups.
  • To work within the EYS framework when planning and offering sessions.
  • Identifying innovative ways to engage with families and to build on their strengths.

As an ideal candidate you will be:

  • A great communicator
  • Always focused on delivering positive outcomes
  • Able to work to deadlines
  • Have a qualification in the relevant field, with Early Years’ experience
  • A car driver with access to your own vehicle daily, to carry equipment and access venues as required

Hours: 15-20 hours dependant on contract type, to be worked over 3-4 days, between: 9am – 6pm  Monday – Friday, these will be discussed further at interview.
