A new opportunity has arisen in our respected and dedicated People Team for a full time Payroll & HR Assistant. 

 

We offer the flexibility of hybrid working, where you will be able to split your time between home and the Putney office, at the same time knowing you will receive close support from the rest of the team.

You will be an essential point of contact for all our services in responding to initial general payroll and timesheet queries and the interface between St Christopher’s and our outsourced payroll provider, ADP.

It is an opportunity for you to bring your skills and knowledge to help build on the relationship between St Christopher’s and our outsource payroll provider and embed full take up of our digital time and attendance system.  We are looking for applicants who have a high level of knowledge around Microsoft Office (excel, word and outlook), (Desirable) Experience with ADP iHCM2, process driven and methodical thinking and great attention to detail.  Full training will be provided so If you’re ready for the challenge and think you have the skills to drive St Christopher’s forward we would love to hear from you.

About the Role

To assist the People Recruitment & HR Systems Manager in delivering a professional, efficient and timely payroll administration support service across all of St Christopher’s services.  Responding accurately and efficiently to all initial payroll and time sheet queries from the services.  To support with updating our Real Time system with new starters/leavers, annual leave and work schedules and develop ongoing knowledge of the system.  To build on our bank of Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) to provide timely and consistent responses to payroll and time sheet queries. 

To work closely with ADP, our providers of outsourced payroll and time & attendance, to ensure all monthly administration is provided to ensure an accurate and efficient monthly payroll for both UK and Isle of Man. This will include:

  • Working closely with Managers and Staff to ensure timesheets are submitted on time and accurate for payroll deadlines within the Real Time, time & attendance system.
  • Working closely with Managers to ensure all overtime, sleep-in’s and on call have been input correctly and authorised in time for payroll deadlines.
  • Respond to any ADP Queries through the Real Time In Box.
  • Respond to any Payroll Queries through the Payroll In Box.
  • To facilitate a collaborative working relationship with ADP at all times.
  • To create new starters Real Time accounts.
  • To carry out data entry on to the HR system as appropriate.
  • To produce standard HR reports from the system as required.

Applicants should have
