The transport industry is an exciting and fast-paced environment to work in. The Stagecoach North Scotland team operate a fleet of more than 350 buses and coaches across North Scotland and are proud that over 17.5 million journeys are made on Stagecoach buses in the area each year. Providing essential travel services in both city and rural areas there are a wide range of improvements in the pipeline for bus services in the North of Scotland.


As a result, a new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Customer Experience  Co-ordinator to join the team based in Aberdeen. 


Reporting directly to the Marketing Manager, the Customer Experience  Co-ordinator will go the extra mile to ensure exemplary service to customer queries through a range of communication tools. With an overall responsibility of the management of customer queries for the full Stagecoach North Scotland area the successful candidate will be comfortable using all forms of digital communication including email, Twitter and Facebook.  Working closely with the Stagecoach Operations teams across North Scotland this role requires a highly organised individual with good interpersonal skills.


The Customer Experience  Co-ordinator will be capable of composing engaging written content both in response to customer queries and for promotional use.  

This is a full-time office based role that will also provide support to the Marketing Manager with internal communications across the company.


Skills & Experience:

  • Reliable, conscientious with the ability to take ownership of issues
  • Self-motivated with a positive “can do” attitude to all tasks
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritise tasks
  • Team oriented and able to build good working relationships
  • Have the ability to remain patient and calm in difficult or stressful situations
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy with good IT skills
  • Great written and oral communication skills

Previous experience in a customer focused environment is essential. Bus network knowledge is not essential but a willingness to learn is. 

Hours of work will be 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday. Some weekend shifts may occasionally be required as support during times of service disruption or public events.
