Qualifications: A qualified PCV/HGV mechanic and be in posession of all certificates and SVQ / NVQ & possessing a full driving licence. PCV driver training can be given as required.

Engineering Vacancy

Due to the expansion of our fleet a vacancy has arisen for a qualified Mechanic at our Glenrothes depot to assist in the maintenance and repair of our fleet of buses to the highest standard as set by the company and VOSA

Being a qualified PCV/HGV mechanic & possessing a full driving licence is preferred but not essential, light goods Engineers shall also be considered. Candidates shall also have the opportunity to be put through a full PCV driving license including CPC.

Working on a rotating shift pattern you will be required to work 38 hours per week, 5 days over 7. The successful candidate will be a motivated team player who can work effectively and unsupervised, while using their own initiative.

Principle duties will include the diagnosis and rectification of vehicle faults. You will also be required to recognize and report vehicles component defects or symptoms which are likely to affect the reliability and safety of our fleet.
