We're looking for people to be the faces of our business, with your focus being on all things customer. You'll be playing an incredibly important role supporting our fantastic customers using our services to get to work, to a number of towns and cities - and for those all-important staycations and city breaks.

We’re looking for friendly, flexible and reliable people to join our megabus team at our stop in Leeds Bus Station. You’ll love meeting people, going the extra mile for our customers and enjoy being part of a professional, dedicated team. As a Customer Service Assistant, you’ll be asked to be the face of megabus for our customers when they’re travelling to and from the coach station.

This is an opportunity where we’re looking for  part time applicants. The working day starts at 07:30 with shifts finishing at 21:00. Working hours will vary and due to the nature of our operation, shifts will include weekends and bank holidays – so we’re looking for applicants who can be fully flexible.

What to expect:

  • Looking after our customers and making sure you’re there to help and answer any questions
  • Supporting our drivers with boarding and helping with luggage
  • Selling tickets and add-on products to customers
  • Managing coach movements within the station and exceeding the health and safety standards
  • Operating internal tracking systems to manage the coach services
  • Being pro-active and helping customers in the event things haven’t gone to plan.

Must haves:

 

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills
  • Brand awareness and product knowledge
  • An understanding of cash systems and handling
  • Have a basic understanding of computer systems e.g Excel
  • Pro-active attitude
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Good understanding of handling complaints and difficult situations
