Job Specification:

An exciting position has arisen within our thriving Residential Conveyancing Department for an Enfranchisement Specialist with a minimum of  5 years + experience within this niche area of law to join our existing Enfranchisement Team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly technical and experienced lawyer.

Role Summary:

Given the responsibility and level of this role, candidates should have extensive experience ideally gained at a reputable law firm and be able to demonstrate ones technical knowledge of Enfranchisement and Lease Extensions.

You will join a dynamic, highly experienced team. The firm has a dedicated Enfranchisement and Lease Extension team that handle the acquisition and disposal of Freeholds, Lease Extensions and Right to Manage claims, as well as other issues concerning leasehold flats and houses.  You will support the continued development of the Enfranchisement team within the Residential Conveyancing Department and work closely with the Property Litigation Department within Business Legal Services, assisting the department as a whole. In this regard, it is desirable that the ideal person for this role also has litigious experience of Enfranchisement. The role will be focused on enfranchisement work, which range from small flat conversions up to large blocks of flats.

Working in a fast paced yet friendly and supportive atmosphere the successful candidate will need to be a self-starter who would want to ‘go the extra mile’ in assisting our teams and clients to achieve their objectives. 

Candidates will have excellent client care and organisation skills, a keen eye for detail and the ability to proactively deal with complex client matters of a varying nature, telephone calls and communications.

 The Residential Conveyancing Department presently consists of 15 teams who deal with the full range property services across 5 offices to both commercial and individual clients.
