We're looking for a new Senior Marketing Executive to implement and support on marketing campaigns within the Telegraph Events Portfolio. Telegraph Events is in a period of change through growth, productivity, systems improvement and enhanced quality. Our Consumer Division is no exception! We are looking at not only growing our existing consumer events but also have some bold launch plans for new events that we want to take to market.  The Senior Marketing Executive will play a very key role in these exciting growth plans.

What you'll do:

  • Independently run marketing campaigns for all consumer events
  • Autonomously negotiate and manage relationships with event partners. (Contract sign off held by Head of Marketing)
  • Support the Head of Marketing in the organisation and running of pre-show and onsite Box Offices. Assist with visitor enquiries, guest list requests and complimentary tickets.
  • Responsible for the smooth running of onsite features and visitor enquiry strategy (pre and post show)
  • Assist the Head of Marketing in ensuring all sponsor deliverables are actioned and provide reports for sales team.
  • Liaise with our internal eCRM team to ensure best practice. Drive data acquisition plans. Ensure onsite data capture is within data protection guidelines. Oversee eCRM campaign and brief internal Telegraph team, including collating assets, writing copy, and proofreading /checking.
  • Ensure all event websites are kept up-to-date, adhering to SEO best practice. Independently manage re-designs and updates with web agencies. Consistently assess latest analytics and implement changes as required.
  • Independently manage Consumer and Trade PR campaigns for events
  • Managing the production schedule to include artwork provision (as above), sourcing quotes for printing/production of materials, and ensuring all deadlines are met.
  • Management of content for all features at events. Ensure content marketing campaigns are actioned.
  • Oversee Trade invite strategy for events.. Oversee Trade PR plan. Implement trade marketing strategy for events.
  • Write post-show marketing report for events. Support Head of Marketing in implementing research projects as required.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • A thorough understanding of events marketing
  • Experience of Ticket Arena/Event Genius systems
  • Applied knowledge of social media
  • You’ve demonstrable experience of working on partnership deals
  • You’ve collaborated with and managed external agencies
  • Hands on experience of booking and managing features
  • You’ve used CMS Systems, Photoshop and Copywriting
  • Superb time management, organisation and prioritisation of workloads is essential – must be able to juggle lots of tasks and never miss a deadline .
  • Confident and capable of working autonomously and on your own initiative
