Senior Supply Chain Analyst

As a business, we own the Early Learning Centre, and Totally Toys brands as well as our own brand Addo Play. Outside of the UK we own the Poly Juguetes toy shops in Spain plus numerous Entertainer and Early Learning Centre international franchise partnerships.


We offer a standard 39.5 hour contract as well as a supportive Blended Working Policy which includes homeworking.

Working as part of the Supply Chain team to develop and deliver clear analytical insight into operations, projects and business performance to support the business in delivering a great customer experience.  To source data, reporting and information from numerous sources, to enable the collation of key data to help monitor, manage and improve the whole supply chain.

The role requires an individual, highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications and with a strong ability to collate, analyse and interpret data.  Ideally with at least two years’ experience in a logistics or supply chain environment. 



  • Set up and produce management information reports on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
  • Use data to identify business improvement opportunities to improve service and reduce cost.
  • Develop and implement business improvement opportunities working with relevant operational teams.
  • Develop and produce relevant business KPI reporting across, operations service and financial KPIs for both fulfilment (online) and NDC (retail) operations and where appropriate investigate discrepancies against expected results and previous years.
  • Analyse and review trends and key findings to highlight issues, suggesting areas to focus on.
  • Support Fulfilment operations with developing and maintaining tools to improve operational planning.
  • Establish good data sets to enable effective insight to be produced to inform business decision making.
  • Support the annual budgeting process, providing data driven assumptions.
  • Monitor annual budget linked to P&L (Actual v Budget, Forecast and Last Year)

Skills & Experience

  1. Strong ability to collate, analyse and interpret data.
  2. Experience in data analysis and reporting.
  3. Strong analytical mind with problem solving aptitude and attention to detail.
  4. Commercially astute.
  5. 12 months experience of retail environment ideally with significant seasonal variability.
  6. Experience in logistics operations and familiarity of supply chain processes.
  7. Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
  8. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  9. Basic level of project management methodology.
  10. Strong communication skills with the ability to be clear and confident linking detailed data with understandable business outputs.
