Night Waking Support Worker
2, 3, 4 nights per week
19hr, 28.5 hr or 38 hour contracts available
Salary: £19,476- £20,742 FTE
We are currently seeking highly motivated individuals to join our team of caring and compassionate Support Workers, who are committed in providing the very best quality of care and support to children (6 – 18) and young people (19 – 25) to enable them to reach their full potential.
We are looking for candidates who have a genuine passion for working with children and young people, who are able to consistently engage our students through praise, direction and calmness.
You will have the ability to work with initiative, resourcefulness and passion in order to support our students, as part of a motivated team.
A Night Waking Support Worker will provide a ‘waking night’ presence and respond to any needs of children/young adults should they be awake during the night.
Fundamental responsibilities are to safeguard the health and safety of the residents in the house during the evening, nights and early mornings and to provide timely and effective handovers with other colleagues to facilitate continuity of care.
Secondary responsibilities include undertaking routine domestic and/or administrative duties.
