Job Details

We are recruiting for 3 female* Personal Assistants to join our Wellbeing and Support Team at Thistle Foundation Head Office on a full time {2x39hrs}part time{1x28hrs}, permanent basis. The full-time shift patters are worked over 3 days 9am-10pm and the part time over 2 days 9am-10pm an additional 2hrs are added to the part time post to allow attendance at team meetings or other job-related activities which are incorporated into the full-time positions.  Both posts require you to be available to answer calls, deal with situations internally within teams, externally with calls that may come on from other providers i.e., OT, Health and Social care, Cass alarm, information relating to people we support etc

A position within the wellbeing support team also entails a level of independent on-call response, this can also be taken from home but includes a provision of being available to take calls overnight i.e., between 10pm and 7am for emergencies. This is paid separately to the fore mentioned salary and will be discussed at interview.

Shifts patterns are agreed alongside the team on a rota basis, the current team work well together to ensure all shifts are covered but also done on a fair ratio so you would not be expected to work every weekend or back-to-back on any given week, unless this suited your own circumstances. There is the potential for sleepovers if required alongside your shift if you are called out to cover, however the main purpose is to work alongside existing teams within Thistle to provide support to look for solutions to cover within the established team. One real benefit of this position is no two days are the same and you also get to know all the people we support, staff teams, families as well as the wider Thistle staffing on all levels building up good rapport allowing people we support to have good outcomes and continually live their best lives.

Requiring a calm, flexible and logical approach, these is a need to understand IT as you will be required to complete sickness reports, access information to support you looking for solutions, ability to answer calls and deal with this in a solution focused manner.

*Exemption under Equality Act 2010
