Personal Assistant (Support Worker)

Job Purpose

Our Personal Assistants support people to lead full, active and socially connected lives, supporting people to achieve the things that matter to them.

Applicants should have, or be willing to work towards, a qualification meeting the standards required for registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).

Job Details

We are looking for new team members (male or female) to join the team that supports a lovely man in his 50’s who lives in Craigmillar.

This is a part-time position at 25 hours per week. The 25 hours will be made up of various shifts over the week and weekend on a rota that is decided by and agreed upon by the team.

It is essential that team members can drive, as he needs to be able to access the activities he enjoys and places of interest.

About this opportunity

He enjoys a good life with many interests in both his local area and further afield. He loves the Arts, Theatre/Cinema and visiting historical places.

It is important to this man that he is supported by people who will share these interests with him and enjoy working closely with the other team members.
