About the role…
Totally Urgent Care Division is a leading provider of national urgent care and out of hospital services following the integration of Vocare and Greenbrook. We have an exciting opportunity for Advanced Nurse Practitioners to join our team on a permanent or bank basis, based within our Urgent Treatment Centre’s located across Newcastle, North Tyneside and Northumberland.
If you are an experienced ANP who is passionate about patient centred care, wanting to enhance your primary care clinical skills and develop your leadership potential then we are the urgent care provider of choice for you!
Working as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner within our team, you will be responsible for the assessment of health and clinical needs of our patients, undertaking consultations as an autonomous practitioner. You will also use your advanced clinical practice skills, and own clinical judgement to diagnose, treat, refer or discharge patients. This role will include both telephone triage and face to face consultations either in one of our centres or the patient’s own home. The role is supported by a variable rota covering weekday evenings, weekends and bank holidays. There is also opportunity to work in hours.
We provide a supportive environment with access to clinical on call 24 hours per day. This includes governance procedures and performance reviews.
We have regular teaching sessions delivered via Zoom.
