Clinic Coordinator

About the Role…

AS a Clinic Coordinator you will be effectively manage local insourcing operations of the business, overseeing contracts by liaising with hospital consultants, nurses, and hospital management teams to arrange service delivery.

Closing Date: 12th August 2022 at 12pm

Interviews week commencing: 15th August 2022

 

Your Day to Day…

·         Building and maintaining strong relationships with key customers to ensure customer satisfaction  

·         Liaising with hospitals to identify requirement dates and ensuring appropriate staff are available

·         Confirming arrangements with hospitals, Consultants and nurses for future work  

·         Booking travel for clinical staff, paying attention to locations/distances and working within policy       

·         Maintaining a record of availability for all clinical staff     

·         Working with the clinical support team to identify suitable members of clinical staff for contracts    

·         Carrying out administration tasks where required, including booking patient appointments, sending confirmation letters, carrying out call confirmations

·         Monitoring patient outcomes and ensuring appropriate follow up where required, including processing test results 

·         Supporting the Operations Manager to implement service improvements   

·         Occasionally taking part in the on-call telephone rota over weekends and evenings

 

 

 

Additional Notes

  • Totally Healthcare is operational 7 days per week. Part of the normal working period may be outside of normal hours. You may be required to participate in some out of hours work to support the insourcing services being delivered.
  • This role profile is intended to provide a broad outline of the main responsibilities only. The post holder will need to be flexible in developing the role and in initial and ongoing discussions with their line manager

 

Qualification, Experience & Training…

  • Knowledge of a full range of Business & Administration procedures acquired through NVQ Level 3 or proven practical experience
  • Be proficient in the use of IT systems including Microsoft Office – Excel, Outlook, Word, Database & internal systems including Patient and staff Information systems,
  • Good general education including English Language and Maths to GCSE or equivalent
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Team player
  • Understanding of data protection
  • Experience of working in a customer facing role
  • Experience of working in a busy environment
