About the role…

Totally Urgent Care Division is a leading provider of national urgent care and out of hospital services following the integration of Vocare and Greenbrook. We have an exciting opportunity for Driver’s to join our team based at York Hospital, on a permanent basis covering various hours to suit you.

Your day to day…

  • All aspects of the efficient and effective delivery of the Transport Service to transport Salaried & Sessional GP’s to deliver patient services
  • Transporting and working with the duty doctor to manage workload between home visits within clinical priority
  • Operating all in car communications and patient management system equipment to support accurate record keeping
  • To support the operational teams with administrative functions and ensuring the correct use of equipment and vehicles at all times
  • Undertake regular stock checks for drugs and any other equipment.
  • Support the Team Leader by participating in the induction and buddying of new employees to ensure they understand the business operation and geographical region

Qualifications, Experience & Training…

  • Good general education, educated to NVQ 2 level or equivalent
  • Must be over 25 years or above (for insurance purposes)
  • Valid driving license for the UK with a clean driving record. Every employee driving on behalf of the business must submit their driving license on an annual basis for a DVLA check
