Area Clinical Director (Nurse/Paramedic) - SE London

About the role...

 As our Area Clinical Director you will have overall responsibility for delivery of clinical quality standards and clinical leadership covering Greater London - South East London.

Part of the leadership team, you will ensure services within your area are well managed and led, with a positive and productive culture, working collaboratively as part of the regional structure.

The role is part of the Area Management Team, from time to time, you may deputize for the Regional Clinical Director (as required).

Your day to day...

  • Provide visible leadership and clear direction to non-medical clinical staff, holding Lead Practitioners to account for the quality and performance of their teams,
  • Responsible for clinical management and performance within the services in your area to support maximum efficiencies,
  • Deliver on all responsibilities to safeguard children and adults in any activity performed on behalf of Totally in line with legislation and statutory guidance,
  • Coordinate non-medical clinical staff recruitment and Rota cover activities to ensure required levels of staffing are in place,
  • Facilitate and actively participate in the continuous quality improvements.

 Qualifications, Experience, Training...

  • Degree level or equivalent qualification / equivalent level of experience with a willingness to undertake masters level qualification,
  • Registered Nurse or Registered Paramedic with current registration,
  • Recognized teaching and assessing qualification.
