Junior Project Manager / Consultant – Professional Services

About The Role                                  CIQHP

As a junior Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the delivery of TRL Software solutions for the next generation; focused on traffic, safety and asset management verticals.  Reporting to the Professional Services Consultant, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of projects and services that encompassing both the business and technical aspects of the solution. Using agile and lean principles, you will assist the team in establishing the foundations of the project through to the release of the solution into production and the management of post-go-live processes. You will also work with cross-functional teams including sales, technology, engineering and product management to drive product delivery activities necessary for growing market share for TRL Software. The role will involve occasional international travel

Key Duties / Responsibilities

  • Provide project management support within the Professional Services team. This will involve developing and managing updating risk registers, issues logs, lessons log and ensuring the project plan and schedules are kept up to date.
  • Help deliver TRL Software projects & provide bid support
  • Lead the project management of smaller projects where required.
  • Ensure all projects are managed to cost, time and quality.
  • Generating clear and succinct project reports
  • Liaising with clients and members of the product and development team, to keep projects running smoothly
  • Presenting work to stakeholders for sign-off

Skills & Experience  

Essential    

  • A good grounding in a Project/Professional Services coordination role
  • Accredited PM or Delivery qualification (e.g Prince2, AgilePM or Scrum Master)
  • Client-facing experience and a proven track record of working with stakeholders to deliver projects.

Desirable

  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment on large scale software development projects (SAFe)
  • Traffic and transport management domain experience
  • Experience in formal requirements gathering, documentation and communication with software development teams

Communication Requirements

Eligible candidates must be able to demonstrate fluency in both verbal and written English with strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
