Graduate Intake - 2019

Do you want to embark on a career where you can apply your skills and creativity to solving real-world issues that impact lives and efficiencies in everyday situations? Do you have a passion for the application of applied research or engineering principles, and a curiousity for innovation that drives change across the world of transport and mobility ? Then consider a career with TRL.

We're keen to hear from Graduates and Postgraduates with a real interest in becoming part of the future of transport - and a belief in the societal benefits provided by safe, clean, affordable, liveable and efficient transport solutions. Typically you'll have an academic background within either the Engineering, Physical Science, Maths/Stats or Behavioural Science disciplines, but we're also interested in hearing from other applicants who demonstrate the desire to make a difference and a flair for applied research. As the output of our work is delivered through written reports and presentations, you must also be able to support your candidancy by providing evidence of examplary communication skills.

From the outset all of our graduates are allocated a home within a functional team that specialises within their particular area of interest, with involvement and input into commercial projects from week one. On the job learning is supported  by a series of on and off-site courses spanning personal development, technical specialisations, and communication and leadership skills. Further support and mentoring for Professional Development is provided through TRL’s Academy.

Positions can be based from our offices in Crowthorne, Berkshire or Central Birmingham, with openings available from Summer through to late Autumn 2019.
