Academic Support / Programme Administrator (HND)

UKCBC is a leading Education provider in the alternative education provider segment with 6 Campuses around London. We are seeking to appoint an Academic Support / Coordinator to undertake a varied range of academic administrative duties to support the students and teaching staff in the overall delivery of the academic programmes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To support and monitor student coursework submissions
  • Supporting the administration of student academic files
  • Collection and analysis of student feedback
  • Minute-taking for Academic Committee meetings, and follow-up activities
  • Working as a Programme Coordinator, you’ll be liaising between academic department members and students to follow up with assignments
  • Attend various student meetings and coordinate redressal of students’ grievances
  • Treat each student as an individual, understanding that each student have different needs and additional responsibilities according to the business needs

Criteria:

The Successful candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
  • Experience working in the Education sector
  • A proven track of working in a busy team and building beneficial working relationships across teams
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to details and ability to work with a high level of accuracy
  • Personable and able to build rapport easily with students
  • Ability to deal confidently and sensitively with students and team members
  • IT literate, with a sound knowledge of Microsoft Word

 

Experience beneficial (but not required)

  • Working with E-Learning platforms such as Moodle, VLEs
  • Coordinating and supporting Pearson HNDs level 4 and 5 programmes
