Customer Service Advisor - McCarthy Stone (Full Time)

We are looking for awesome Customer Service Advisors to join our client that specialises in retirement property development and residential new builds, McCarthy Stone.

You will be working from home initially, so you will therefore need to have a computer or laptop and a strong wi-fi signal – a technical specification and homeworking criteria questionnaire will be provided in more detail to applicants upon receipt of your application. IMPORTANT: Longer-term this role will be based from our offices in Southend-on-Sea, Essex so you must live within commutable distance.

 

What will I do in the role?

  • First point of contact for all customer queries
  • Provide exceptional customer service whilst building appointment conversions and achieving high quality scores
  • Brand ambassador for your client
  • Manage existing enquirers and prospective leads across various communication channels (this may include multi-channel contact via inbound/outbound calls, emails, live web-chat and social media) as appropriate. 
  • Make sure the customer is at the heart of every conversation

What do I need?

  • The right to work legally in the UK
  • A desire and genuine passion for delivering excellent customer service ensuring an empathetic approach
  • An understanding of lead generation or sales (desirable)
  • Outstanding social service etiquette, with the ability to be versatile in your approach to adapt your style for each customer
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience of working in a customer facing environment
  • Works well within a team
  • Confident IT skills
  • Flexibility, professionalism, drive and willingness to learn

 

What will I be paid?

We offer competitive pay rates, based on a salary of £18,720 per annum and benefits such as:

Working Hours

  • Start date - ASAP
  • Permanent, Full Time - 40 hours per week
  • Mon-Fri 08:00 - 17:00 with alternate Saturdays 08:00 - 17:00 (with a day off in the week)
