We’re looking to recruit an enthusiastic and reliable Web Assistant to join the Communications and Marketing team.
As Web Assistant, you will have responsibility for a variety of activities from adding pages, events, and news articles to the SU websites, to updating our other Digital Applications and creating email templates.
With no two days the same, you’ll support our Digital Applications Manager, and the wider Communications and Marketing team in delivering digital communications to the students of Warwick

You’ll be an enthusiastic and reliable person with a positive approach to work in this interesting and varied role. Your strengths will be your passion for digital communications, along with your efficiency, and excellent organisational skills. You will have working knowledge and experience of using HTML 5, CSS3 and jQuery.
It’s essential that you have knowledge of any scripting language (like PHP), and that you have awareness of UI/UX best practices. You will also have experience in uploading content and data using website CMS, and be proficient with Microsoft Office.
You’ll be a quick learner, a logical thinker and be able to process and interpret information in a timely manner. You’ll be motivated, passionate about your work and have a commitment to delivering a great service for Warwick students. But above all, you’ll come to work ready to make an impact, excited about working in an environment where you will be encouraged to contribute ideas, be part of a team and make a difference.

Location: This role will be based in the Warwick Students’ Union building on University of Warwick campus, during term-time. There may be some flexibility for remote working, however please note that the majority of work is required to be completed in the SU. Subject to UK Government guidance, there may be a requirement to work remotely in the future. It is therefore essential for candidates to own suitable equipment so as to work be able to work remotely.
